Press and hold the button (usually marked with an "i").

While continuing to hold the "i" button, press and hold the Power button . reset epson xp 2100

Unplug the USB cable if you are using a wired connection to your computer. Press and hold the button (usually marked with an "i")

Open WicReset and click Read waste ink counters to verify that the pads are indeed at 100%. Reset Counters: Click Reset waste ink counters . Open WicReset and click Read waste ink counters

Resetting the software counter does not empty the physical pads. If you have been printing a high volume of documents, the pads eventually overflow, causing ink to leak out of the bottom of the printer onto your desk.

Epson's official recommendation for this error is to replace these pads at a service center. However, a popular alternative is to simply reset the counter using third-party software, which allows you to continue printing.

Resetting the digital counter does not physically clean or empty the ink pads. If you reset the counter without replacing or washing the physical pads, excess ink will eventually overflow, damaging your desk, carpets, or the internal circuitry of the printer.
