Hs2 Missing Zipmod !!exclusive!!

There is a unique kind of horror in the Honey Select 2 community. You’ve just downloaded a stunning character card from your favorite Discord or Pixiv creator. The preview looks flawless. You drag the PNG into your UserData/Chara/female folder, boot up the game, load the card... and are greeted by a silver, textureless mannequin with floating eyeballs and no hair.

Ensure all your .zipmod files are located in the mods/ or mods/MyMods/ folder within your main HS2 directory. If the folder doesn't exist, you can create it manually.

This is for when a mod was made for AI-Shoujo. It involves editing its internal file structure to make it work for HS2.

: Zipmods are uncompressed archives; do not unzip them into folders unless explicitly instructed by the mod author.

While the game doesn't always display a literal pop-up that says "missing zipmod," the symptoms are unmistakable: missing textures, invisible meshes, pink or purple placeholder models, or the infamous "No ID" message in the character maker. For the uninitiated, this is a brick wall. For the experienced modder, it's a puzzle to be solved.
