Graitec Advance Design is a premier Finite Element Analysis (Element Method) software built for structural engineers. It streamlines modeling, automates loading generation, and accelerates code-based optimization for steel, concrete, and timber structures.

Switch to the tab. Click on Mesh Options to define your global element size. For typical commercial buildings, a mesh size between 0.5m and 1.0m balances accuracy with computing speed. Click Mesh to visually subdivide your slabs and walls into quad or triangle finite elements. Execute the Solver

With the interface mastered, you can dive into the mode, where your project takes shape. This involves defining materials, sections, and element geometry using a combination of CAD tools and dialog boxes. The key step is applying various loads (point, linear, planar, or climatic) to the model.

Before running a lengthy calculation, use the Verify command to scan your model for duplicate nodes, overlapping elements, or unassigned materials.
