The printer may ask for confirmation. Select Yes or OK .

Often caused by "Phantom" paper jams or waste toner container errors.

Option B: The Physical Sensor Block (For Refilled Cartridges)

The Samsung C430W uses smart chips on its toner cartridges. These chips count the number of pages printed and automatically lock the printer when they reach a specific threshold. This lockout can happen even if there is still physical toner powder left inside the cartridge. Resetting the printer bypasses these electronic locks, clears frozen firmware errors, and allows you to utilize the remaining toner. Method 1: The Hard Power Reset

Samsung C430W imaging units use a tiny, ultra-low amperage fuse (usually 50mA to 63mA) acting as a "birth certificate." When a new drum is inserted, the printer sends a brief surge to blow this fuse intentionally, signaling to the motherboard that a new cycle has started.

A reset cannot fix broken hardware. If you have performed the steps above and still see the error, refer to the manual to check for a physical problem with the printer. Please contact Samsung Support if the problem persists.

This method is often used to clear hardware-related "red light" errors. : Power the printer OFF using the power button.
